Drum Circle: La Vida Laguna's Full Moon Burn (Laguna Beach) 7-10 pm
The Left Bank will join the Laguna Beach Full Moon Burn.
If you’re lucky enough to be here on a full moon, come to our free Laguna community pageant known as Moon Burn, featuring a drum circle, fire dancers and hoopers on the beach!
We drum at Aliso State Beach from 7 – 10pm, every full moon, complete with bonfire.
If you have a drum, great. If not, don’t worry, there’s always extras. However, extra wood will instantly ingratiate you.
Directions: Aliso Beach is a few miles south of downtown Laguna on PCH, on the right side a few streets past the Montage Resort and opposite Aliso Creek Golf Course. You can pay with a credit card ($1/hour for a park-and-display pass). Annual passes to OC Parks and Beaches are available for $55, see http://ocparks.com/beaches/aliso/news/details?NewsID=1277&TargetID=65. The Left Bank gang meets on the SOUTH side of the fire, away from the entrance. It can be difficult to find each other on the beach, especially in the summer when hundreds of participants gather around the fire. For easier parking, we recommend that you arrive by 6:00pm and enjoy the beach a little. You may want to meet at a restaurant in Laguna Beach at 5:00 and carpool. You are welcome to use the posts below to organize a carpool.
