What's the main reason you want to learn about the Permaculture Design Course?

To learn more about who, where, why, how others are embracing permaculture in the area

How did you hear about Permaculture?

From Ken Benway in 2009

Phone/Email outside of meetup (don't worry--we will NOT share this info)

Have you taken a PDC? If so, when/where? Are you interested in teacher training and/or 'continuing education' opportunities?

PDC at the Earthship site in Myakka in 2010

Introduction

Learning, practicing and teaching permaculture in eastern hillsborough county since 2010

What Bob A. is saying about this Meetup Group

The concept of permaculture education is gold. How is this education brought into and made meaningful to the local community? I look forward to participating in the development and delivery of academic material and hands on implementation. As associate organizers of the guild I would like us each to write a paragraph or two describing how we personally view our involvement with the guild and what we would like to see the guild involved in. The individual viewpoints can then be put into "digest" format and then reviewed by the group. This will help us to become clearer on how we personally look at the purpose of the guild and then see the commonality (or diversity) of our views and what we should center around to move forward. At present it feels like there is a tugging and pulling of views on what we would like to accomplish. I think we all would like to move forward into an actionable position.
