As product management continues to grow and expand in organisations of all sizes, what does the future hold for the discipline? Tonight we’ll discuss how product management has evolved over recent years, what the future holds and what we can/need to do to continue growing the discipline (note Brian Chesky’s changes at Airbnb!).Featured Product: Joe Blair, Edtech Product and Innovation Leader
Joe has been supporting schools at The Key for 15 years, on a journey from a small government-funded pilot project to a private-equity backed company of over 400 people. The Key Group now provides online guidance and core SaaS products to over 80% of schools in England.Joe has held many roles, from leading the content term and bringing engineering in-house at The Key, to helping schools navigate the pandemic as Director of Product at ScholarPack. He is now Group Director of Innovation, working on product strategy and new product experiments.
Joe also recently spent a year in government as one of the first Number 10 Innovation Fellows. He supported the digital strategy team at the Department for Education, and learnt a lot about the challenges and opportunities of modernising public services.
