At our gatherings, live food demonstrations may be presented; and nutritional and educational information may also be provided depending on the particular venue. If you're interested in becoming "plant strong", or you want to learn new recipes for preparing vegetarian, whole-foods, this meetup is for you! We are interested in meeting other who are interested in a whole food plant based lifestyle. We will often gather and restaurants that serve plant based meals but if we prepare food, it will be totally "plant strong", dairy free, caffeine free, alcohol free and contain minimum amounts of oil and refined sugar.

Our goal is to provide a social environment that encourages Knoxville community residents to live a simple, wholesome and healthier life through exercise, plenty of sunshine, spiritual growth, and a vegetarian, whole foods plant-based diet.)

pre-Valentine day Breakfast at Kristina's Restaurant.

3615 Kingston Pike

A special treat for Valentines, Kristina will one again open her restaurant for a special meal. (normally not open on the weekends) This will be a wonderful plant based meal at a special place. For those of you who have been there, you know what a delightful place it is.

Her restaurant is located about 80 miles from Knoxville via I-75 and highway 92 at Williamsburg. I usually takes about 90 minutes to get there from Knoxville. Generally, we plan to leave Knoxville a little after 9 AM to arrive at the restaurant a little before 11 AM. This means it's more of a "brunch" meal. The meal is total plant based and the Large plate (pictured) $12.99. (Small plate $10.99)

Since it is quite a long way to get there, we usually plan a walk after the meal. There are wonderful walking locations nearby, so keep in mind that we would probably get back to Knoxville about 4 PM or later.

We'll plan to leave Knoxville from the parking lot at 3615 Kingston Pike at 9:15 AM. If you want to ride with someone, it would be a good practice to contribute gas money. I suggest $5 per person.

If you have questions, call Stan[masked]
