Ragtime - 99-cent Ticket Night

Beer & Blue Jeans Preview night!

Park Square Theatre has 99-cent tickets and a coupon for discounted beer at Great Waters Brewing Company next door.

Showtime - 7:30pm, arrive early to wait in line for cheap tickets. I'll be arriving around 6pm if I can.  I CANNOT promise to purchase tickets for others, as tickets sell FAST!  Come join me in line if you can find me (I'll likely be crocheting!).

It's 1906 and the air is filled with syncopated new music.  A Wasp family living the good life, a Jewish artist bent on achieving success, and a handsome black piano man courint the woman he loves find thier lives colliding against the backdrop of "the American Century."  Harry Houdini, Evelyn Nesbitt, Emma Goldman, Booker T. Washington, Henry Ford and J.P. Morgan make cameo appearances in a sweeping musical that features the largest cast ever seen on our stage.

Couldn't get in, did enjoy the hot chocolate waiting and the conversations outside waiting, so will do it again and will try to get there earlier.

Very cold waiting, but the show was very enjoyable. It meant a lot to the actors to have a full house for the preview.

Show was good, a little long. It. Would be nice if members could meet before or after. The way it exists now, unless u know the people coming, you do not really have a chance to meet and talk

Alas, I am teaching this night. But, there is a wonderful little play on the weekend - The Snow Queen. Please check out the post and email on it. It is a pay-what-you-can performance! Check out the video; this should be a sweet and heart-warming little play, perfect for winter.

You cannot buy tickets ahead of time... you have to show up early and wait in line to try to get tickets.

Last 99 cent show (Gershwin) I got to the theater at 5:30 and was in line inside the foyer. I got a ticket and sat by myself, because I wasn't sure how this worked with a group. So I wanted to ask, Do we try to sit together, how does that work? Do I not get on the line until other group members show up? Just trying to figure this because sitting with friends is more fun.
