Sound Focused Meditation

Every other Saturday morning and every other Tuesday evening, we will use sound to bring focus and quiet to our body, mind, and soul. Sound is a very powerful tool that has been used for thousands of years.( Even my chiropractor uses sound wave therapy to relax the muscles in my back!) In this meditation, I will be using chimes tuned to an ancient tuning that lies between the notes on the piano. It is a way of breaking the sound patterns that our bodies and energies have been tuned to. When we do this, it breaks up old patterns and helps us to release blocks and energies that no longer serve us.

We will start with the Ohm sound repeating and eventually fading into the music allowing your mind and body to be quiet and relaxed. Simply taking the time to meditate throughout the week has many benefits.
