Details
Let's do something a bit different this month and read some poetry. I've chosen the famous American poet, Emily Dickinson. No specific book - you can find her poems all over on the internet or in anthologies. If you have a book dedicated to her poems, then that's a bonus! (If you're like me and happened to find 2 books of her poems on your shelf, then congrats, you're probably an absentminded collector!) One of my copies, 'The Selected Poems of Emily Dickinson' happens to have an introduction by one of my favorite poets, Billy Collins.
Here's one to get you started.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!
