Open to all - Varying in techniques
Join us on this Thursday for group meditation. There are so many, perhaps infinite ways to sit and practice concentration and contemplation towards a meditative experience. During our group meditation session, one of our members facilitates the evening and offers a technique that they are familiar with through practice.
This week, TSD board member Kate Gould will facilitate the hour with a mindfulness practice.
Quietly sitting and working with our awareness helps calm the mind and become aware of our thoughts and feelings, and allows us direct our energy much more intentionally. Remember, five minutes of meditation a day is more powerful than one hour a week, so keep up the practice!
