Do you want to experience and learn more about how to thrive on a plant-strong diet? Then this is the Meet-up group for you. What is a whole food plant based diet? It's a diet based on foods derived from plants, including vegetables, whole grains, legumes and fruits, but with few or no animal products. Plant based diets help prevent chronic disease like diabetes, heart disease, cancer and improved skin and gut health. The plant based pot luck meals are a safe place to be no matter where you are on your plant based journey. There's no judgment at these meals, just good old healthy food with down right friendly people!
You're asked to bring a plant based side dish, appetizer or dessert. Bring enough for 8 people.
Let's enjoy being outside and hiking some of the trails at Whitnal Park! Weather permitting, we will meet at the Wehr Nature Center at 1pm on Sunday, September 27th. This will be a great opportunity to hang with other like-minded plant based people. We can share stories, recipes and support each other through our plant based journeys.
Please meet at the front of the Wehr Nature Center at 1pm. Bring your mask!
