ThingsCon Amsterdam Salon part 2: Shenzhen

Details

In April this year, ThingsCon Amsterdam organized a research trip to Shenzhen China, ''the Silicon Valley of hardware''. We visited factories, design agencies, maker spaces and the electronic markets. Some of us worked on their projects with local partners, and the team of The Incredible Machine worked on their Blockchain connected bicycle lock.

This special Shenzhen Salon aims to share our learnings: what is happening in Shenzhen, and how is this relevant for designers and product developers? How can you work with the Shenzhen ecosystem to launch your connected hardware project? The evening session follows an afternoon Salon about the Internet of Bicycles (https://www.meetup.com/Thingscon-Salon/events/240178422/) and is open to anyone interested in learning more about the rapidly developing Shenzhen hardware industry.
