Yes, yes, I know it's Valentines day....but what would you rather do? Sit in a restaurant with a bunch of couples or come along to Think Act Change, get inspired by some awesome people and learn how to take your idea for a social enterprise, community project or not-for-profit and actually make it work??
This month we're delighted to host Donnie MacLurcan, a noted speaker who also works with Project Australia (http://projectaustralia.org.au/). Project Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that helps ordinary folks like you to realise your potential & get your not-for-profit idea off the ground.
Donnie's aim is to speak and act boldly from the heart in order to inspire futures beyond economic growth. He seek practices grounded in critical thinking, collective action and considerate living. He develops community projects and social experiments, brainstorms alternative futures and also writes for various publications.
A last minute addition to the schedule is the fabulous Tharani Jegatheeswaran, Client Director for not-for-profits at Deloitte Private.
Her role at Deloitte is to help NFP's improve their strategic operations, thus enabling them to become more scalable and sustainable. She is also passionate about showing corporates the advantages of partnering with NFP organisations as well as advocating the concept of "shared values". Tharani is an inspirational woman who has big plans for shaking up the corporate sector.
Tharani is going to share her personal journey & help to show you how to effectively leverage relationships with corporates to get your NFP or community ideas going.
Come along, hear their stories and find out how to bring your idea's to fruition.
See you there!
