Talk Shop: Adult social care and its funding

Details
In this session we be using the Talk Shop discussion process to take part in a national conversation on the funding of adult social care.
Why this project
For many, the funding of adult social care is in crisis in the UK. There have been endless committees of enquiry and proposals, but no action. It feels important that lots of us work out what we think.
How does this project work?
The aim is to involve 100 people across England and then the results will be written up and sent to event organisers, the Department of Health and Social Care and other interested parties.
This session
In this session we will firstly learn about the current system then discuss 3 options for improvement before finally considering different ways in which further funds could be raised if required. You will have time to deliberate on all aspects in small teams and provide full feedback on your considered views.
