Anyone who enjoys the sociability and fun of early 19th century dance. Valley Area English Regency Dancing celebrates the life and times of Jane Austen. Dances of the period are social mixers, smooth, happy, and transports people through time. It's a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. There are also light refreshments, conversation, playing cards, and dancing to music of Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven.

There will be light refreshments, conversation, and Regency Dancing. We shall be learning set dances, waltzes, and one of Jane Austen’s favorite type of dance, the Cotillion. Donation is $8.00, parking is free, and the bringing of a snack to share would be greatly appreciated. Dressing in Regency attire is encouraged but not required.
