Accessibility for UX Designers

Details

Have you ever wondered how to include more people with your designs?
Grab your lunch and join Barbara for a meetup with Dean Birkett, a versatile, Senior-Level UX Designer on a mission to design and inspire more accessible solutions.

In his talk, Dean, will introduce the topic of Accessibility and share what we can do as designers to ensure as broad an audience as possible.

ABOUT DEAN BIRKETT

Dean Birkett is a versatile, Senior-Level UX Designer on a mission to design and inspire more accessible solutions, based in Amsterdam.

As a designer, Dean turns technical decisions into human ones. He informs himself with data, but never loses sight of the who and why.

He is the voice in the room for those being outside of the room, and he can effectively communicate with design, technical, business, and legal, to ensure any proposed solution considers everyone’s unique needs.

THE AGENDA

11.45 am: Opening Doors
We will "open the doors" at 11:45 am to give all of us plenty of time to arrive at Zoom, set up our equipment, and troubleshoot any technical issues we might have.

12.00 pm: Kick-Off
We will kick-off the event at 12.00 pm sharp. If you arrive late, don't worry. We will be recording the event and publish it soon after.

12.05 pm: Presentation
Dean Birkett - Accessibility for UX Designers

12.50 pm: Q&A and Wrap Up
Dean will answer our questions, and our event will come to an end.

---
Our meetup will take place as an online live event. The Zoom Link will become available to all attendees one hour before opening the event.

Can't make it to the live session on time or need to leave early?
No worries, we will record and share the event with all participants afterward.
