Quality is not an act, it’s a habit

Originally created as a guest lecture for students at HTW Berlin, this talk offers an introduction to the topic of quality and how to build quality in. We will look at software development processes and practices, different types of requirements (functional and non-functional) and the changing role of quality professionals. In addition to the technical approach, we will also explore the importance of diversity and inclusion with regards to quality.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS

JO WILL
Lead Consultant Quality Analyst at ThoughtWorks

With a degree in archaeology and computer science Jo started her career in QA in 2005. She has worked for several IT companies in different sectors before joining ThoughtWorks as a consultant in 2016.

SHALINI SAINI
Senior Consultant Quality Analyst at ThoughtWorks

Started her career as a developer in 2010 and soon found her passion in Quality which allowed her to be more creative. She has been part of various IT companies, explored different domains & processes. Joined ThoughtWorks in 2015.
