What we're about

Threads is a series of online discussions that enable you to explore in conversation with your peers - managers, leaders and founders of South West tech companies - the factors that enable progress and growth for your business and its people.

We meet 4-6pm the first Wednesday of each month to explore a nominated topic, usually around growth, ops or people.

Do join us! It's an knowledgeable and helpful peer learning community, exclusively for people in a management or leadership capacity.

Each discussion is hosted by someone who offers domain knowledge, drawing on the experiences and combined learning of participants. You can explore nuances particular to your situation too, as you feel comfortable - discussions uphold Chatham House rules for discretion.

You are welcome to participate during any stage of your business cycle, be that a funded start-up, a scale-up, or a company reaching maturity/exit. Certainly, there's always a good diversity of experience and viewpoints that you can draw upon.

There's no pressure to contribute something profound - active listening and good questions are a great starting point.

We aren't seeking to be definitive, but to help you arrive at a good practical understanding. You will likely leave Threads with at least a few ideas to reflect on and potentially implement.

You can find learning points from earlier discussions at the Threads blog (https://threadssouthwest.org/), updated monthly.

Threads is a community value-add from the group organisers. There is no selling and any networking is incidental. We like to support the community in such a way, helping raise the bar for all.

You can get involved by:

- Coming along to a discussion

- Letting us know what topics might best help you, via the poll; https://s.surveyplanet.com/1myLtX5Rd or dropping us a message

- Letting others know about this community
