Thrive Sunday
"Embracing Growth - why do we give up on ourselves?" This week's ThriveSunday will feature a very special session on Growth. No matter what we want in life: new car, better income, different housing or ideal relationship, we must grow to achieve it. But most of us are stopped dead in our tracks paralyzed from even dreaming. Why? In this informative and practical session, Peter Montoya will explore why we give up on ourselves, stop dreaming and dare to explore better lives. We'll discuss how to believe that we can grow again, accomplish our dreams and live our ideal lives. It's a can't-miss session that everyone will benefit from. We're a group of people as interested in the success of others as ourselves. We meet regularly to become better individuals – together. We gather to develop our own character, and in doing so we grow by being surrounded by people who want to see us thrive. Little by little, by becoming better people and helping others thrive, we work to make the world a better place. Our goal is for everyone in our community to have more meaningful lives. Our meetings include: • Speakers/Educational Videos • Social Time • Large Group Sharing • Small Group Discussions • Exercises • Sharing • Meditation • Food • Music We're a community that values inclusion, equality and unconditional giving. We get excited when other people achieve success and truly flourish! Come check out our growing community!

What we're about

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” - African proverb

Would you like to learn how to grow and thrive in your own life, among like-minded people who will cheer you on?

Are you passionate about helping others and discovering deeper meaning in existence?

ThriveUnion is a community and a life-enhancing curriculum dedicated to human fulfillment.

We’re an expanding group of welcoming individuals in search of others who want to go the distance—together. We seek to surround ourselves with those who are committed to collectively achieving our full potential, because we believe that people thrive when supported by those who truly wish to see them succeed.

Our Values

A strong community is much more than a group of friends or neighbors. It means shared values, a common philosophy, and a collective mission. We believe strong communities are essential to a better world.

“Thrivers” are just as devoted to the well-being of others as they are to their own. We invest in each other to help ensure that we’re all on the path to living a life of meaning and purpose filled with positive emotions and healthy relationships. After all, we thrive best when we thrive together.

Our Philosophy and Goal

ThriveUnion’s philosophy is greatly influenced by “The Power of Meaning: Crafting a Life that Matters” by Emily Smith. In today’s society, many pursue happiness by chasing endorphins and peak experiences. However, Smith argues that the key to true happiness is to focus on meaning. Through her research, she discovered that meaning is found through community, and “when we reframe our tasks as opportunities to help others, our lives and our work feel more significant.”

Thrivers are challenged to transcend their own barriers to cultivate creativity, independence, connection, spontaneity, and an empowered relationship with the real world. The goal is to help members flourish in all aspects of life—at work, at home, and in relationships.

Our Gatherings

Our weekly Sunday meetings are led by a professional facilitator in the Tustin area. We also host social/special interest events, weekend retreats, and community service events on a regular basis in Orange County.

We currently rely on member donations to support the organization.

Ready for the Next Step?

Come hang out with us! Our Sunday meetings are a great place to get to know our vision for the community and meet new friends.

While Thrivers are encouraged to participate at any level they find comfortable, we’re also hoping to find about a dozen individuals to join our leadership team. Share your vision and ideas to help us develop ThriveUnion, and lay an indelible fingerprint on the future of our organization.

Feel free to contact us with any questions or to simply show up to one of our events.
