To seek strength in life through Jesus Christ who is the author of life, love, and light, as we meditate on His word while painting and creating. We will discuss a topic of struggle (example: anxiety), while painting a basic simple sketch of color and form. You do not need to know how to paint. Then we will add a scripture pertaining to said struggle on our paintings so that we can meditate on Christ's strength for us.
Life can be difficult. As Christians, we know our strength comes from Christ. While we cannot eliminate struggle, we can walk through it with Him.
---Enter off of Butterfield road, take the path RIGHT, go to Silver Lake. We will meet in the parking lot---
Spring is here! Let's celebrate by sketching Silver Lake at Blackwell Forest Preserves. Please bring a camping chair to sit in and a picnic lunch to snack on. You do not need to have artistic skills. We do not critique artwork. The goal of the outing is to experience nature, draw, paint, or scribble, and have fellowship.
I will provide art supplies to the first 3 people who need them by making a comment below. This is a free event.
