What we're about Do you feel stressed out and find yourself worrying about tings? Do you feel tired all the time and have a hard time focusing on tasks? Does your mind constantly race and you can't seem to shut it off? Do you have problems sleeping at night?
Meditation brings peace of mind, relaxation and replenishes energy at the same time. With our busy schedules it can be difficult to find the time and place to sit down and relax and let our worries fade away for a short time.
We are here to provide a supportive community and a calm space to help you unwind and practice mediating. We meet every Thursday at 7:30pm – 9:00 at the Oriole Community Centre located at 2975 Don Mills Rd in North York.
We welcome all levels of mediators and the purpose of this group is to help everyone get the most out of a guided group experience.
We are a judgment-free, non-competitive group that focuses on fellowship and mutual respect. Our Mediation is open to everyone: we welcome all religious and ethnic backgrounds, and gender identities and expressions.
The first part of the evening is the guided meditation where we focus our mind; explore our consciousness and self –reflect in a deeply peaceful atmosphere.
The second part of the evening is dedicated to Spiritual Healing. The Healing is given by volunteer Fellowship members that have been trained in Spiritual Healing.
The guided part ends at 7:00 but the space will be open until 8:00 for those who arrive late, wish to continue meditating on their own, or would like to share complimentary healthy snacks and beverages as we talk about our experience.

The Canadian Fellowship of Spiritualists is a non-profit organization and we rely on donations to cover our costs. There is no specific fee however we recommend a $10.00 donation.
The number of people that actually RSVP’s on meetup is usually quite a small number. This is not reflective of how many people actually attend our evening. Not all attendees belong to this Meetup site, we have many people that attend our Meditation and Healing evening that have heard of us in various ways. So don’t let a low RSVP number influence your decision to attend.
Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring an open heart. If you prefer to sit on the floor for the meditation, you are welcome to bring a mat or a cushion.
If you are interested in achieving deep relaxation, learning to manage stress, anxiety and depression, this evening is for you. Please note that you do not need to register ahead of time, you can just show up!
