Young Frankenstein -- CANCELED!!

Whitecliff Park

Tickets go on sale starting at 6:30 pm before each performance. Curtain Time is 8:15 PM. So bring your lawn chair and enjoy the Whitecliff Summer Playhouse, summer stock musical theatre at its best.

The Whitecliff Summer Playhouse is the mainstay of Playhouse Productions. Produced in cooperation with the City of Crestwood Parks & Recreation Department. (see http://playhouseproductions.org/?page_id=2 for more information)

Young Frankenstein is a musical with a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and music and lyrics by Brooks. It is based on the 1974 comedy film of the same name written by Brooks and Gene Wilder and directed by Brooks, who has described it as his best film.[1] It is a parody of the horror film genre, especially the 1931 Universal Pictures adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and its 1939 sequel, Son of Frankenstein.

Fun Home

Third Baptist Church

When her father dies unexpectedly, graphic novelist Alison dives deep into her past to tell the story of the volatile, brilliant, one-of-a-kind man whose temperament and secrets defined her family and her life. Moving between past and present, Alison relives her unique childhood playing at the family’s Bechdel Funeral Home, her growing understanding of her own sexuality, and the looming, unanswerable questions about her father’s hidden desires. Fun Home is a refreshingly honest, wholly original musical about seeing your parents through grown-up eyes.
