Tikkun @ SAJ is a group for 20s/30s who are interested in building community and pursuing justice together. We are a new group and gather about once a month-6 weeks for a Shabbat dinner or Saturday night Happy Hour and Havdallah and some discussion of a current topic from a Jewish, spiritual, or activist lens. The gathers are relaxed and friendly and there is always wine/beer provided, often with folks bringing potluck food. As we grow, we hope to pursue particular areas of social justice work or show up for local actions together. We are based at SAJ, Society for the Advancement of Judaism, on the Upper West Side, and all are welcome, regardless of religious background or affiliation, gender identity or sexual orientation.
