1 day photography CRASH COURSE! GET-TO-GRIPS with your camera settings in a day.

Details

Become best buddies with your camera in 1 day and FINALLY understand it's settings.

As always this workshop is location based so you will be taking lots of photos and learning at the same time.

“I bought this great looking DSLR, but my photos just don't look that special!”

In this 5 hour session you will master the most important settings on your DSLR, once and for all!

“What the heck is ISO and an F-stop, and what does aperture really do? They just sounds like some boring geek words!”

Many people naturally get scared off when they hear these words. And I don’t blame them! So during this short course we I will break it all down very simpley.

This is an active workshop. And what i mean by that is: I give a full explanation complete with visual examples on an iPad, then a demonstration and then we all put it into practice by taking photos. We only move on once everyone has mastered each topic.

I like to say that learning photography is like learning to surf - you don't get good at it by reading and talking about it - you get good by doing it.

Obviously I want people to ask lotsof questions as we go along, but we will also be having 2 sessions ofQUESTIONS & ANSWERS. 1 at halfway point and 1 near the end of the day.

At the end of the session you can expect to walk away confidently knowing about:

-- Exposure - F-stop, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO

-- Overexposure and when it can be a good thing.

-- Depth of field and how to get the most blurry background your camera can give you.

-- White Balance

-- The best settings for sharp pictures

-- Focusing - focusing points, and different focusing modes (this apect alone will transform the quality of your photos)

All the workshops are very friendly with a great atmosphere.

We will have 2 breaks - 1 for coffee and another for a quick meal and everything will take place in central Amsterdam. We will be meeting at Amsterdam Centraal station, front middle entrance (under the clock) at 12 midday. If it's raining the session will be postponed to a day when it's god dam sunny :)
