How time flies… It’s been a year straight since we launched the Tinel Meetup event and now, twelve meetups and two workshops later, we couldn’t be more proud on all the milestones that we managed to achieve. Our next guest is Ryan Townsend, Chief Technology Officer at Shift Commerce, and he will talk about how to build a fast website without even involving your clients in the agreement process.
The talk is tailored for front-end developers who can improve the performance without the need for any costly rewrites, new infrastructure, or any kind of work that requires permissions and budget.
Ryan has over 15 years of experience in developing complex software solutions, while his area of expertise lies in website performance optimization. As a CTO at Shift Commerce, he worked on a SaaS e-Commerce platform that brings agility to mid-to-enterprise companies, most notably one of the largest UK retailers - Matalan.
Besides delivering high-end software solutions, Ryan recently kick-started his conference speaker campaign that’s showing great potential. In his recent venture to DevDay18 in Berlin, he won the Best Speaker Award with a talk called Building Fast Websites Against All Odds.
