The rise of IoT and smart infrastructure has led to the generation of massive amounts of complex data. Traditional solutions struggle to cope with this shift, leading to a decrease in performance and an increase in cost.
At the upcoming Tinel Meetup, our guest will be Crate.io's Developer Advocate - Tanay Pant. He is best known for his books "Learning Web-based Virtual Reality", "Building a Virtual Assistant for Raspberry Pi" and "Learning Firefox OS Application Development". He has been acknowledged in the "about" credits of Firefox for his contributions to the different open source projects of the Mozilla Foundation. He also writes for a number of websites like SitePoint and Tuts+ where he shares tips and tricks about web development.
Tanay will talk about handling complex data using a simulated Curiosity rover. Participants will learn how to create a data pipeline for ingestion and visualisation. By the end of this session, we will be able to set up a highly scalable data pipeline for complex time series data with real-time query performance.
The event is taking place on the 30th of May, we strongly suggest that you confirm your place at Tinel Meetup #24 - you’re in for a treat!
