Progress Report

Details
We've been meeting regularly, and I have a lot to report. My apologies for not providing an update. I was just informed that the posts I've been submitting have not been published. So, onward.
Our Meet-ups are getting more interesting and more organized every time. The meeting in October was all about forming committees to rally around having tiny home display's in the January Home and Sustainability show. We found and investor, a graphic designer, some poster makers, and more. Kyle made us a beautiful poster, and we started a Face Book group " tiny houses tiny villages Eugene.
Our November meeting was centered around taking action to change laws so that people could legally have tiny homes in their yard. Lots of energy around that. Many members are starting to attend city council meeting on the 2nd and 4th Monday. We're composing an article for the weekly about the story of YESBY's ( Yes in my back yard) people who are willing to share their land with tiny home owners.
People are leaving each meeting with a declaration of what they will do next after each meeting. We're developing our meeting management skills. And we're forming action groups. The momentum is really picking up, so come on out to our next Meet-up January 9th at the Market of Choice on 29th and Willamette. Starting at 7:00.
Feel free to connect with other members through this site or through our facebook "tiny houses, tiny villages Eugene". Get involved. It's going to take an entire city to fix the housing shortage problem and build sustainable homes, and be able to live...legally.
See ya soon!
