What we're about
Founded in September 2000, Tiny Tots is a place where the caregivers of children from birth to age 4 can relax and socialize. Our program for the children consists of free play with a wide variety of toys and activities, including ride toys (for hallway racing! :), Play Doh, crafts, and coloring pages. We provide snacks, and also coffee/tea for the adults. (We are a peanut-free facility.) During our last half-hour, we have a song and story time, which includes a Bible story, a parade with musical instruments for all, and ball and parachute play. During our program, participants may come and go at any time.
We have a nursery suite, which includes a changing table and supplies, a nearby sink, rocking chairs, and a crib. We suggest a $1 donation per child per visit, but no payment is required. All of our volunteers are CORI- and SORI-certified, and we often have a retired nurse on the premises.
We are a welcoming community where adult caregivers can enjoy themselves and have a chance to relax. This is not a drop-off event, however. Caregivers must remain with their children throughout the entire time they are participating.
All are welcome!
Parking is available in our lot, along the near side of Elmwood Road, and in the neighboring Kelly Memorial Park lot. To find us, go to the side door near our preschool's playground, and ring the bell for "Church Office / Tiny Tots".
(Note: we follow the Wellesley school calendar, and we do not meet when the schools are on vacation.)
