DO YOU LOVE TO LAUGH & TO MAKE OTHERS LAUGH? CAN YOU MAKE FUN OF YOURSELF & DON'T TAKE YOURSELF OR LIFE TOO SERIOUSLY? DO YOU SUPPORT & APPRECIATE RATHER THAN COMPETE WITH OTHER WOMEN? IF YOU ANSWERED "YES" TO ALL, THEN PLEASE JOIN US!!
A little bit about us... We are a group of "Aged to Perfection" women with older or no children, who either don't work or have flexible work schedules. Most of our activities take place during the day Monday - Friday.
If that fits your criteria and you're looking for a group of positive, fun-loving, active, down-to-earth, trail~blazing women who enjoy an occasional cocktail or glass of wine, then this is the group for you!
Some of our activities include: hiking, book club, golf, cooking classes, happy hour, walks, lunches,... you name it and we're open to suggestions! The focus of the group is quality over quantity, so please bring a positive attitude to all events. We also ask that you actively participate, and most importantly... if you RSVP for an event, you show! Join us for lots of laughter & friendship, while we discover everything San Diego has to offer. We look forward to getting "Tipsy" with you soon!
**MeetUp charges the organizer to run a group, so we ask each member for a $10 annual contribution to help cover fees. You can pay via WePay or cash at an event. Thank You!**
Let's get an early start to summer at The Shores restaurant Tipsy's!! Here is the happy hour menu: https://www.theshoresrestaurant.com/menus#bar-menu-and-happy-hour
Street parking in the immediate area or validated parking is $3. Ideally, we can get the living room area (couches and coffee tables) which is to the left of this picture. It is still outside, but sheltered. What a view, lets enjoy!! Open attendance, so feel free to bring a friend.
Lets do the 7 Bridges Urban Walk! Its about 6 miles so bring comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen if needed. We'll meet in front of the Inez Grant Parker Rose Garden by 8:50, will leave at 9am. This is a great urban walk through Balboa Park, Bankers Hill, up to University and back to the Rose Garden. I have a description of the walk which I will upload here. I'll also bring maps so people can walk at their own pace, or stay in a group.
Hope to see you there!
"Where'd You Go, Bernadette" tells the story of a brilliant agoraphobic mom who suddenly disappears, leaving her daughter and husband to unravel the mystery. The movie starring Cate Blanchett comes out August 2019.
