What we’re about

Hello,
We are doing in-person meetings on Tuesday at the Coquitlam City Hall. The meeting time is 12 pm to 1:15 pm.
We are also using the Zoom platform for our online meetings for the rest of Tuesdays ( 1st, 3rd, and 4th). If you have any issues joining, feel free to email us at tottmemberships@gmail.com

Fear speaking to a group? Get self-confidence and speaking skills, The Tri-Cities ONLY Noon hour Toastmasters club meets in-person & online. We will meet at Coquitlam City Hall (3000 Guildford Way) every Tuesday from 12:00-1:15 p.m. You can park in the underground parking lot, off Burlington Avenue.
More info: tottcoquitlam.toastmastersclubs.org. Guests and visitors are always welcome! We usually have 20-30 people attend our meetings. Guests are encouraged to attend, watch the meeting and comment publicly about what they thought of the meeting. You may have an opportunity to participate in Table Topics (impromptu speaking) if you want. There is always lots of humor in our meetings to keep it fun.
Dress is business casual, or come as you are.
The format of the meeting is:
The Sergent of Arms opens the meeting with enthusiasm.
The Toastmaster Conducts the meeting, Introduces the speakers and everyone participating, plus explains the meeting theme.
2-4 Speakers give their prepared speeches.
The Table Topics Master introduces the theme and chooses 3-5 volunteer Table Topics Speakers who will learn to "think on their feet" and give impromptu speeches
2-4 Evaluators will give feedback to the speakers
Table Topic Evaluator, Grammarian, Timer, and General Evaluator will each give their evaluations.
