• 会場: ふれあい貸し会議室 秋葉原A (秋葉原駅徒歩3分、岩本町駅徒歩2分)
• 持ち時間: 25分+5秒/手、NCSラピッド公式戦、FIDEラピッド公式戦
• 形式: 7R スイス

参加資格
NCS会員で、FIDE IDを持っている者。

FIDE IDは持っているがFIDEラピッドレーティング又はFIDEスタンダードレーティングは持っていないプレイヤーはunrated(UR)とする。URのプレイヤーが5名までとする。

R E G U L A T I O N S

Basic information

• Date: July 2nd (Saturday), 2022
• Venue: Fureai Rental Conference Room Akihabara A (3min walk Akihabara Sta., 2min walk from Iwamoto-cho Sta.)
• Time control: 25min + 5 seconds per move, NCS rapid rated, FIDE rapid rated
• Format: 7-round Swiss

Eligibility
In order to play in this tournament you must be a member of the National Chess Society of Japan (NCS). You also need a FIDE ID.

If you have a FIDE ID but you don't have a FIDE rapid rating nor a FIDE standard rating, you're considered unrated. In order to minimize the number of unrated games, the number of unrated players is limited to 5 (first come, first serve).

• End: 6/29 23:59
• Spots: 16, including 5 unrated spots
• Method: please register via this form.

Note that you cannot register via Meetup for this event.

We have reached our maximum number of entries (16 players). Further registrations will go to the waitlist.

Fees

• Regular fee: ¥4650 (to be paid until 6/30 23:59)
• Early bird fee: ¥3200 (to be paid until 6/8 23:59)
• Payment method: bank transfer only.

The default time is 15 minutes from the start of each game. If a player is not present within 15 minutes after the game started, they shall lose the game by default. That game is not rated.

Parings and results will also be posted on chess-results.com.

Prizes
1st, 2nd and 3rd places will receive trophies.

† Depending on the number of players, the 1st place might also receive an extra prize (not guaranteed).

Other regulations

Pre-registered byes: half-point bye requests will be accepted before round 1 begins. 0 points are given for the last 2 rounds. If a player has more than 2 pre-requested byes, they cannot qualify for prizes. 1 point is given for a forced bye.

Score sheets will be provided, but writing down the moves is optional. When the game is finished, players must write down the result, sign both score sheets and report the result to an arbiter.

All electronic devices including smartwatches have to be turned off and stored away. They cannot be carried in or taken out of the playing room during the game. If a player is found with a mobile device during their game, that player loses the game.

The organizer will provide chess equipment, including clocks and score sheets.

No observers are allowed without permission. Please contact Tabiya Chess Club by 7/1 in case you want to visit. No permission is given on the day of the event.

All players must agree to the above rules and to the NCS COVID-19 Guidelines.

The tournament will follow FIDE rules unless stated otherwise above. (1st illegal move: 2 extra minutes are given to the opponent; 2nd illegal move: loss of the game).

Please be aware that photographs might be taken at the event for use on the Tabiya Chess Club website and other media. By entering this event, you consent to the organizer and authorized persons to photograph and use your image and likeness.

This tournament may be postponed or cancelled at short notice, due to some unforeseen incidents or the Covid-19 situation.

The organizer reserves the right to change the above regulations at short notice.
