Come join the most friendly and fun community in Tokyo! We have been playing American-style dodgeball in Tokyo for 10 years now and we have 14 dodgeball marriages so far (updated June 2024)!
Basically, if you like having fun and making friends you'll like our group :)
Our game is the ultimate ice breaker. Trust me, there's no better way to make new friends then by hitting them in the balls (or boobs) then sharing a "kampai!" at the bar. (Side note - definitely plan on hanging out after the game if you want to make friends, see below).
Everyone is welcome, guys and girls, singles and groups, and you don't have to be an athlete to have fun - in fact being bad is fun too! Dodgeball is not like other sports. No one has been playing their whole life, so everyone who plays with us was terrible when they first started (me included). You will be bad your first time, but no one cares!
All our events are really two events in one. First is the game itself, then we go to a bar for drinks. If you don't come to the bar then you're missing out on half the fun! And even if you don't love sports then the bar is your chance to shine. Especially if you are a new player, by all means try to come out for at least one drink, you'll be surprised by how many friends you make!
Lastly, we play dodgeball with special soft-core 'no sting' rubber balls because having fun is our #1 priority. Hope to see you on the court!
