A bōnenkai (忘年会 literally "forget the year gathering"?) is a Japanese drinking party that takes place at the end of the year, and is generally held among groups of co-workers or friends. The purpose of the party, as its name implies, is to forget the woes and troubles of the past year, and hopefully look to the new year, usually by consumption of large amounts of alcohol.
Time again for the THS to gather all the hackers, and all the makers and party like the year never happened. Once again we'll be having a pizza party. There will be ¥1000 entry fee per person to cover the cost of the pizza, snacks, plates and other goods for the party. Please bring any kind of beverage that you would like to consume alone or share with the group.
Pizza will be ordered and served around 4:00PM
We're holding the bonenkai a little early this year to be courteous to our neighbor who lives next door.
