This group is dedicated to lectures, meetings, and discussions on tools for spiritual growth. The primary focus of this group is on astrology, yoga postures, and meditation as tools for spiritual growth. Further tools for spiritual growth explored by the host and his colleagues include nature, creativity, psychology/psychotherapy, sacred medicine, and more. "Know thyself" is the theme that underlies all events.
Psychedelic therapy is slowly becoming legal; the global therapeutic community will consequently be encountering and healing the human psyche at a depth never before accessed on a world-wide scale. Humanity will need a broad support network of experienced therapists and knowledgable, supportive community members.
This event is the first public meeting of the D.C. Friends of Psychedelic Science, an organization dedicated to providing training and education in psychedelic therapy to therapists and community members of the greater Washington, D.C. area.
The event provides a wonderful opportunity for meeting like-minded people interested in the healing potential of psychedelic therapy.
The panel discussion will provide an opportunity for the audience to hear from people who have experienced psychedelic therapy in a variety of therapeutic protocol structures. The audience will be encouraged to voice their questions and curiosities to the panel.
The panel will be moderated by Livia Kent, managing editor of the Psychotherapy Networker, the most widely read publication in the psychotherapy community today.
The schedule of events is as follows:

7:45pm-8:00pm: Introduction to the D.C. Friends of Psychedelic Science
