ThingsCon is a global community of IoT experts as well as an event platform with the mission to advocate for the creation of a responsible and human-centric IoT.
We are happy and honoured to announce that Casa Jasmina will be the venue of the next ThingsCon camp. The IoT experts from the core ThingsCon community will gather at Casa Jasmina on September 21st - 23rd to work on the Trustable Technology mark, ThingsCon's consumer trustmark for IoT, and to discuss future collaborations.

On Monday, September 24th we will have the pleasure to host two very special speakers from ThingsCon and Mozilla’s Open Internet of Things Studio at our monthly Magic Monday Meetup:
Peter Bihr co-founded and chairs the board of ThingsCon e.V., a global community & event platform for IoT practitioners that fosters the creation of a human-centric & responsible Internet of Things. He explores the impact of emerging technologies, and how to put them to work responsibly and for the public good. Peter is the founder and Managing Director of The Waving Cat, a boutique research, strategy & foresight company where he explores impact and opportunities of emerging technologies—especially IoT.
Peter will talk about ThingsCon's Trustable Technology mark: the project & the State of Responsible IoT.
Michelle Thorne leads Mozilla’s Open Internet of Things Studio, a professional learning network committed to making IoT more open. She’s published Understanding the Connected Home and regularly facilitates programs that advocate for equality through digital empowerment and innovation through open, collaborative practices. She’s based in Berlin, Germany.
Michelle will talk about Good neighbors in the smart city: trust, IoT and how to make the smart city more knowable and responsible.
