We were not going to have a January Meeting until the opportunity to have a special guest speaker presented itself.

Assaf Stone is a senior ALM architect at SELA, implementing, customizing, and training teams to work with TFS. Assaf has more than 15 years of experience in the field of software development, primarily on the Microsoft technology stack. Assaf has a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Computer Sciences, is a VS-TFS Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist, and has co-authored Microsoft’s official TFS 2010 training kit. Assaf has more than 10 years of experience leading and coaching teams with agile management and development practices, and is an avid proponent of Scrum, Lean Software development, TDD, and any other practice that improves the effectiveness of developers.

He will be discussing several patterns of software design that make applications more testable. Asaf will describe them, demonstrate them, and cover the scenarios in which to use them.
