What we're about

Let's get serious about preventive healthcare/longevity. There's way too much information out there and most of it is junk. Let's get together and read books and papers on the topic and explain them to each other.

Let's try to meet around once a month and discuss a paper or a book. We will have to be very careful in selecting what to read and discuss since there's a lot of junk available out there. Here are a few sources that I know of off the top of my head that are legit:

• Anything by David Sinclair

https://genetics.med.harvard.edu/sinclair/

https://lifespanbook.com/

• Anything by Peter Attia

https://peterattiamd.com/

• Anything by Rhonda Patrick:

Also, I won't mind rolling up my sleeves and going through textbooks in biology, biochemistry, metabolism, etc. Here are a few that I know of:

• Laura Deming recommends Molecular Biology of the Cell: https://www.amazon.ca/Molecular-Biology-Cell-Bruce-Alberts/dp/0815345240

• This is a quicker read on metabolism: https://www.amazon.ca/Navigating-Metabolism-Navdeep-Chandel/dp/1621821293

• This one is a classic: https://www.amazon.ca/Biochemistry-Short-Course-John-Tymoczko/dp/1319114636/

Please let me know if you know of any more.
