NFTs & Generative Art

Details
Given the recent boom of generative artists releasing their work as NFTs, we are focusing our upcoming Creative Coding Toronto meetup on the areas of NFTs and generative art.
We’ll be inviting Amelie Maia, a talented creative coder and a curator at DiverseNFTArt to share her knowledge about the NFT space, go over the different market platforms, outline best practices and inform the audience on ways to get started publishing their own art as NFTs.
Our team at Reflektor Digital will be sharing our knowledge about different approaches for building a custom marketplace or simply listing your NFTs on a custom website.
We’ll be covering the following topics:
- What is a brief history of generative art and NFTs?
- What are the differences between different marketpaces and blockchain networks?
- What is up with all the wallets?
- What are some controversies surrounding the blockchain and NFTs?
- Which marketpaces are ideal for generative art?
- What are some examples of a successful generative art NFT launch
- How to mint a series of NFTs that have generative properties
- Advice on approaching marketing
- How to setup a custom website from which visitors can connect their wallet and purchase an NFT or collection of NFTs.
If you have any other questions around the cross of generative art and NFTs, feel free to share it in the comments.
