The People of Email have spoken; you want to learn as many ways to acquire subscribers as possible. FINE, we shall lay these out to you on a red carpet because we aim to please.

However, growing your list to meet arbitrary KPIs, chest-bump with executives or catch up to competitors is only one side of the equation. We will also discuss some more esoteric perspectives, such as:

  • Should you collect subscribers who just grab the discount offer and leave? Or even worse, stay and never engage again (gasp)?
  • How can you ensure you are investing your growth budget in the right sources?
  • How many subscribers are enough?
  • What are some CASL requirements when acquiring subscribers?
  • How many subscribers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

After this discussion, I hope to leave you with both new ideas in your toolbox and tweaks you can make for a more strategic approach.
