Community-centric Game Design with Eduardo Sajgalik
Details
Welcome back!
This month, guest Eduardo Sajgalik (@Walaoumpa), will be taking us through community development and how to design/implement games that encourage community development.
Something necessary, but often overlooked. Community-centric design blends UX and game design into an experience that takes viewers into consideration. In an age of Twitch and Let's Plays, not everyone will be playing your game. But if you can design with community in mind, it will help to develop the community around your game.
Eduardo is a community consultant in Montreal who works in multiple languages and cultures with gamers varying from 13y old MMO players to 70+ Scrabble enthusiasts. He has a keen interest in inducing community development via game design - space that is now being explored in much more depth.
