This meeting will be one hour in length and will look at each of the major U.S. Indexes (SPY, IWM & DIA) along with some select currencies and a handful of Sectors that look to be of possible interest. Provided we have time, I'd be happy to have us all look at any individual charts that may be of interest to you.

What are your favourite trading tools and sites? Let's share our insights, tips and tricks. I am a big fan of "Finviz.com" and "Stock Charts.com". Both of them have a terrific free version. I will share the features I like the best and how I use them. What are yours? Come and share them with us so that we can all improve and benefit.

In this session we will take a look at some key commoditiy charts and sim to identify the best ones for a "focus list".

In this all day, in person, intensive workshop I am going to teach you the basics of reading a stock chart to jump start your success.
The workshop will be divided into four lessons as follows:

Morning Session (9:30am to 12:00 Noon)

Lesson #1 - Understanding Candlesticks
Lesson #2 - Using Multiple Time Frames

Lunch - 12noon to 1pm (a light lunch will be provided)

Afternoon Session (1pm to 3:30pm)

Lesson #3 - Introduction to using "key" Moving Averages
Lesson #4 - Learning to see the Patterns & Putting it all together

This workshop is designed for beginner to intermediate investors/traders who want to learn the essential basics of reading and interpreting a stock chart.

Each lesson progresses into the next and is interactive so that by the end of the session you will feel more comfortable identifying the current market climate and establish a solid foothold into the world of Technical Analysis.

I highly recommend this course to anyone new to investing - understanding these concepts is an essential "must".
