Lightning talks
Details
A grand tradition of Perl, the Lightning Talk has long been some of our most attended meetings. Speakers present a timed 5 minute talk of their choice to the group. These talks can be basically anything of interest to the wider tech community. In the past we've had talks like:
• Cool Perl modules you found/wrote
• Hierarchical structures via ORM
• Current web technologies
• Source Control
• Programming language of your choice
• Cultural issues like the Pirate Party and Privacy
