This group is focused on connecting the Greater Toronto Area Red Hat software users, enthusiasts, and people with an interest in Red Hat's open source approach to technology. The core missions for this group are to discuss and share ideas, best practices and resources based on the Red Hat technology ecosystem and to connect Red Hat users in the Toronto area. You don't have to be a current Red Hat customer to join. If you have an interest in things like open source software, Linux, JBoss, and cloud computing, you are going to meet similar minded individuals in this group. Every level of experience is welcome, all we ask is that you come with an open mind and are excited to share your knowledge. Meeting agendas will include a list of discussion topics so you can come prepared with questions and input.
Containers without daemons: Buildah, Skopeo, Podman
Please register at;
During out last meetup we discussed these topics but there was a request to go even deeper into these topics, so as always we try to give our user group what they want.
CRI-O works with Kubernetes, to manage and run OCI containers and so as such it's not meant as a developer-facing tool. So come and see new generation of tools for packaging and running containers without Kubernetes.
As always there will be demos and discussion.
We are adding more content (as is it was not already enough already) Efraim Marquez-Arreaza will be presenting RHEL performance with Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) as well. So now there is even more of a reason to come out.
