What we're about

This is a group for machine learning (ML) practitioners and analytics professionals who are interested in reinforcement learning (RL). We will discuss research papers, have hands on coding sessions. If you would like to present, please get in touch with the organizers.

Reinforcement learning is a sub-field of ML inspired by behaviorist psychology where the goal is to learn a policy which maximizes reward. Important differences from supervised learning include:
- explicit exploration/exploitation tradeoff
- no explicit training data
