Complete Lighting and Shooting Workshop - Sept. 30
JUST 3 SEATS LEFT! Once again, our skills transfer workshop on studio lighting is taking place in downtown Toronto. For this particular session, we have reduced the class capacity to 8 from the traditional 10 places. Therefore, tickets are even more limited than in previous sessions which do traditionally "sell out". In this workshop you will learn essential lighting skills, will use core and advanced light shaping tools and work with professional industry models to create wonderful portrait, beauty and fashion images. This is not an ordinary workshop. Our goal is to teach you all of the skills you need to create a lighting 'look' that suits your creative ambition. We'll show you what camera settings are needed for success, and you'll get real hands-on experience working to build the various lighting setups. To ensure that your learning potential is maximized, an extensive set of student notes (including lighting diagrams from the workshop you will be attending) will be provided a couple of weeks after the workshop. These notes are packed with useful information that was covered in the workshop in addition to bonus topics and even a hardware buying guide. Please note: to attend this workshop, you MUST purchase your ticket with Eventbrite following this link: We also have a site setup to tell you everything you need to know about the workshop here. Please check out this site for all of the relevant info: Our models for this event will be Daria Sells and Ciara Antoski - two of Toronto's most experienced and sought after models. You will leave the workshop with fantastic images for use in your own portfolio. In addition to learning essential skills, this is an opportunity to give your portfolio a solid boost. See you there! What we're about

This meetup group focusses on mastering studio lighting. Approximately five times per year, James organizes the "Complete Lighting and Shooting" workshop. Photographers wishing to improve their lighting game, learn proper studio lighting techniques, working with lighting gear, AND create amazing images for their portfolio will all find tremendous value in the workshop.

You will find each session announced here. Yes, there is a fee for this workshop. We utilize a professional large photo studio in Toronto, hire models and assistants, and offer a complete range of professional lighting tools over the six hour workshop - we also provide comprehensive student notes.
If you think the workshop might be something of interest to you, visit the official workshop site at - agenda, pricing, dates, testimonials etc are all available for you there.
