After a 2 year hiatus the IRL version of the Toronto Unreal Engine & Friends meetup is back! Join us for 2 amazing talks from Epic Games, and Pixomondo at Dark Slope Studios & Lumeto's offices at 213 Sterling Road, on Tuesday May 31 at 7PM.
Talk 1: Epic Games & Unreal Engine 5 Launch
The Unreal Engine 5 is launched! Join us for a special presentation from Joe Finlayson of Epic Games on UE5. Joe will walk us through overall engine updates and an Media & Entertainment focus.
Talk 2: Pixomondo on the Virtual Production of Star Trek: Discovery
In Season Four of Star Trek: Discovery, Pixomondo took the show boldly where no other Star Trek property had gone before when it adopted Virtual Production for the first time.
At UE and Friends, the VAD team will explain how virtual production and all its departments were used to put together an unforgettable season for Discovery, as well as the newly aired spinoff, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.”
Event will start at 7:00PM sharp.
