What we're about

This is a space for people interested in understanding their privilege and confronting their biases. The goal is to explore white people's racism and biases without putting the burden on people of colour to be the educators and advocates for this work.

The idea for starting this group came from an article on what white people can do for racial justice ( https://medium.com/equality-includes-you/what-white-people-can-do-for-racial-justice-f2d18b0e0234 ), specifically number 19 ( https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/wow-i-m-racist-time-viral-encounters-white-spaces-are-n947311?fbclid=IwAR1JX_CGV0Tu-Dz1DVfoWIanpJxgSmD1PnMLq3tPJu0w3ex9WGS58OJBte0 ).

We will be having online meetups to foster judgment-free discussion. We will also be sharing resources on the main page for those interested in educating themselves about racism.
