Topic: Unlock the SharePoint Reporting Secrets Abstract: SharePoint has always been important to Microsoft's Business Intelligence strategy, and even with the move to the cloud and the rise of Power BI, this is still the case. SharePoint lists and libraries are often used as a data repository, and SharePoint pages are often used to surface reports, and dashboard information. This session dives deep into what it takes to report on SharePoint data using Power BI, Power BI Report Server, and SQL Server Reporting Services. Once this report is built, we will explore the various options for providing these reports to end users. If you work with SharePoint, and are interested in Power BI or vice versa, this is a session for you. Schedule: 6:00pm – Pizza and social 6:30pm – Introductions and Q&A 7:00pm – Feature Presentation 8:30pm – Prizes and closing

What we're about

The Toronto SharePoint Users Group (TSPUG) launched in 2006 to support the SharePoint community in southern Ontario. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at MNP (111 Richmond W, 3rd Floor) in downtown Toronto . Each meeting features a catered social, Q&A, and a featured presentation. All are welcome!

TSPUG members also host the Toronto SharePoint Camp. This free, volunteer-run event is held on a Saturday using the CodeCamp format (see also: CodeCamp Manifesto (http://www.thedevcommunity.org/codecamps/manifesto.aspx)). We are actively seeking a new location for our 350 attendees!
