Topic: Understanding Office 365 (Modern) Groups

One of the most important developments to have emerged in the Office 365 space in the last few years is Groups. The unfortunate thing is that Groups are probably one of the poorest understood things. Groups are central to the Office 365 experiencing, touching all of the core products in the stack - SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Yammer, Planner and even Power BI. In some cases (Teams, Planner) Groups are essential for the use of these products. What is unclear is how users interact with Groups. Each of the products have different ways of interacting with them, and in some cases managing them, and they all have different mobile experiences as well. This session will break down exactly what Groups are, and go into detail on how the various products interact with them. There are a tremendous number of productivity gains to be had with groups, and this session will help you understand how to realize them.
