August 14 - Monthly Model shoot - Join the fun, share & learn!
For Beginner through Advanced Photographers.
Theme is Anything goes...! We had such a great time at the July Anything Goes, at our models request -- We're doing it again!!
- Cosplay, athletic wear, jeans, dress, pants, shorts, anime, torn, costume, crazy, fancy, formal... anything goes.
2 hour shoot with our models. 10am-12 noon.
Models will surprise and impress us!
Plan on taking Headshots, Half and Full Length with the ladies. Models will pose for you and walk a few steps showing action. Plenty of help/advice provided. Lighting will be set up for you.
Studio Lighting will be set up per look. Setup explanations will be shared.
This is a chance to shoot models with Pro lighting gear!
Build your portfolio. Between now and December, you'll have added 10 models and many clothing looks to your port! 18 for the entire year if you attend all sessions.
We'll be finishing at Noon. Stay and hang out for a while to relax &
some show and tell, gear talk. Lighting techniques. Plan on staying to 12:45 if you like. After that, I've got some scheduled shoots to do.
Requesting you send your 3 or 4 best shots! I will forward them to the models. Also post your fav shots here in Meetup to the AUGUST event.
Camera Settings to start with.
Shutter sync speed. 1/100... depends on your camera.
White Balance - Flash/5500
I'll provide a white balance card target if you need it.
I used an 85mm lens last month and zoomed in and out with my feet.
* bring your camera with hot shoe. Models, studio lighting and flash trigger provided. Camera settings will be given per look.
** Covid stuff... Usual common sense applies. If you are not feeling well, runny nose, any kind of illness, symptoms over the past few weeks, please plan on another day. Temperature checks will be done at the door.
Parking out front and opposite side of the street facing south. Driveway parking is reserved for our models
ps. If you have a need to rent studio time for your own project or want a bit of learning time, please let me know. For these shoots, I'm trying to break even by end of year so I can continue shoots on into next year. Please help support your meetup!
