Towpath Cyclofemme Ride

We welcome everyone (women, and men & kids who support women) to join us on Mother’s Day for our 2018 Cyclofemme Ride! If you would like to learn more about this international ride taking place in many cities all over the world on May 13th, you can visit the website: http://cyclofemme.com/

We will start the ride at 1:30pm from the shop. Our route will be an out & back along the paved canal path (no roads) to visit Susan B. Anthony (in Mt. Hope Cemetery), who once said "Let me tell you what I think of bicycling. I think it has done more to emancipate women than anything else in the world. It gives women a feeling of freedom and self-reliance. I stand and rejoice every time I see a woman ride by on a wheel…the picture of free, untrammeled womanhood".
Gotta love her!

We will ride the 17 total mile loop together as a group, but if you prefer a shorter distance you can turn around at any time.

Please park in the lot behind the shop, (behind the Coal Tower restaurant) because space is limited in front of the shop. Thank you!

Helmets and signed waivers required, and we highly recommend flat tire repair kits.

This event is FREE, although we would greatly appreciate an RSVP so we have enough post-ride goodies for everyone!
