Los Remedios del Pueblo Section 2: Traditional Preparations in Medicine Making

This section of Los Remedios del Pueblo is open to those students who have completed "Los Remedios del Pueblo Section one: Introduction to Mexican American Folk Healing."

In this section, we will take the information learned in section one of "Los Remedios" and will apply it to hands on demonstrations of medicine making using recipes and methods traditional to Mexico and the regions of the south western United States.

Please wear clothes that you won't mind getting dirty (preparation making is not always a clean or glamorous pastime and we may be using herb that can stain cloth).

Price includes the use of materials and ingredients and there will be an opportunity to take home some of the example preparations, so be sure to bring a couple small glass containers.
